Jhene Aiko leaves us teared up

JHENE AIKO ASKS HER BROTHER TO NOT GIVE UP...

I have never heard a very deep lyricist like Jhene Aiko. This woman is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Jhene Aiko is a 27 year old RnB/ Soul artist from California. She has a daughter with Omarion's brother, Oryan Browner but sadly, they have went their separate ways but they are definitely co-parenting lil Namiko.

Jhene Aiko lost her older brother, Miyagi Chilombo, back in 2012 after a two year battle with brain cancer and it has been a real hustle for the singer. Jhene released a song for her brother entitled “For my Brother" and Lord, the song brings even the toughest person to tears. One actually wonders how this woman was able to record the full song without crying...I mean like honestly...i know I would not have been able to even finish the song...But on the bright side...Jhene was able to keep it together and record and finish the song before his brother passed away...so he did hear the song before it was released. I can just see him tearing up when listening to the song. It is indeed a beautiful song.
Jhene’s brother, Miyagi, was 25 years old when he passed away (a very young age for a child to actually leave his parents behind). The song was written by Jhene and before you go down to the link below and listen to her very emotional voice...take a look at the lyrics and just witness what a special relationship these two had:
"Oh yeah, oh, oh, oh
Waves of sadness crashing against the shores of unsureness ...
So hard for me to understand when doctors they cannot cure this
I wish I could take away your pain, I wish I could trade places
Man, I just want you to be OK
Man, I just wish I could erase this
I know the life has a funny way, so I'm not complaining
While I still got you here, I still got you here
I hope that you can hear this!
Don't give up, don't give up on us
I just want you to hear this! Don't give up on us!..."

Now tell me who would not feel like tearing up just nje with this first verse...This song is totally the kind of song that everyone who has ever lost someone tries so hard to not listen to but because it is so good...you cannot help but listen to it...This is not one of those songs you listen to and sing along to but one of those songs you put on just to be sad and miss the person you have lost. Jhene is ONE STROoooNg woman...Click on the link below to listen to Jhene Aiko's "for my brother "tribute.
